CUTERA LASER LIMELIGHT™ (IPL)

Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatments are non-invasive procedures that help improve skin tone and reduce surface imperfections such as redness, small veins, and brown spots associated with aging and sun damage. They also help minimize pore size and improve skin texture.  This procedure is ideal for the face, neck and décolleté (chest).

Immediately following a Limelight treatment, brown spots will start to darken and skin may appear slightly red. The treated area may be mildly swollen and this may lasts a few hours. Make-up can be applied to cover the redness. Within one to three weeks, dark spots will crust and flake off and redness and small veins will lessen, leading to a more even complexion.  For optimal results, three treatments are recommended, spaced four weeks apart.

COOLGLIDE® VEIN THERAPY

CoolGlide® Laser Vein Therapy is a safe and effective treatment for small facial veins. The laser utilizes a focused beam of light whose wavelength is targeted to the pigment in the blood, heating and destroying the veins without harming the surrounding skin. The number of treatments needed depends on the number of vessels, color, and size.  Often 1 to 4 sessions are required, spaced 6 weeks apart.  The vein is reabsorbed by the body and fades away over 4 to 6 weeks.
